Morning all

I seem to have a faulty door sensor. Have replaced the batteries and even tried it in different locations but no good. It's the magnetic type same as in the photo.

Is it just a case of ordering a new one and fitting or is there programming involved?

Many thanks
Dave

Yes there is programming involved though it is easy to do full instructions here http://www.avsgemini.com/user/downloads/Gemini 931tmh user & installation guide new.pdf
I would try reprogramming the old one first though.

Thanks Steve, mine is the 7590T2-1 system and I found the instructions the other day on how to re-programme or enter learning mode. I've also rang them as I could not find a bonnet switch on my A Class S680. So, when I open the drivers door and bonnet as it says in the manual nothing happens when I then turn on the ignition.

Its a bit odd, I thinking that maybe there is a manual switch that replaces the bonnet one that needs to be operated to get the system into learning mode.

At bit of a loss at the moment!

Dave
