Well if you asked any teenager to design something that doesn’t rattle they would do better than this.

Whoever designed Remis cab blinds needs to go back to school. It is obvious this will rattle as either the rod resonates or you go over a bump.

How hard would it have been to make the hole slightly larger and use a tight fitting nylon insert?

No problem with ours, as quite as a mouse. (y)
Which rod are you talking about ? the ones across the windscreen or the cab doors ?
 
The one that runs across the bottom of the cab windscreen, that sits in a metal bracket.
 
Mines like that. Not a mummer after 19000 miles
 
What’s the box thing on your dash?

Think that maybe the issue as I don’t have it, and my blinds are quiet.

The bottom rod on ours is rock solid in the centre mount. The mount has a much smaller hole and the plastic cover on the rod stops fractionally short of the mount with only the metal core being held.
 
Ours don’t rattle, probably the only things that don’t!
