I know this thread rightly belongs in the gps section, but given the recent threads on here I am hoping a 770 user might know the answer.
All other units I have had you could change what is displayed to the bottom..Miles to go, time to go, current speed etc.
Factory default is to show time to go to destination.. I want to change it to distance to go..
Anyone know how ?

Usually press corner (destination and the time to go in your case) and another page comes up!! Select what u want and press back (that’s on a 660 I apologise if it’s different on the 770)

On the bottom where it says "Arrival"

Press the screen there and you'll see the list of the alternatives you require.

I m sure my 770 had at one stage a multitude of choices at the bottom.
Altitude, distance to go, time of arrival etc. rather than just the one choice.
Am i suffering the first signs of the D word or is there a way to get that done ?

Proly thinking of a different unit..

You can download the manual on line. Really useful. It does more than you think.(y)

The internal loaded manual is good for reminding yourself of functions but I find it easier and clearer to print out the online copy so I have as physical one to refer to. St least I did at first it not so much now that I am Rey familiar with the Device.

As to the original question, I like to have trip data displayed on the screen and have selected current time, distance to poi, arrival time and in bottom right corner, arrival time. I find that very useful, particularly as they are all dynamic and change as the journey progresses.

I prefer distance to go on the bottom right..
When aiming for a distant place, a rough daily mileage is set in my head.. I tend to keep going until that distance is met
Other than that we tend not to worry too much :-)
