We're currently in Betanzos in Galicia, Spain and the weather is colder than home but it's absolutely beautiful.
There's a free dog agility park next to the Aire here and Poppy Cockapoo had a go for the first time today. See it in our latest blog post https://lovemotorhoming.com/gorgeous-galicia/

I think all of spain is chilly at the moment apart from the very south and it's not getting better for a week.

We have a chilly strong wind down here in Castro Verde, Portugal but out of the wind very warm😊

Murcia, "Not as we know it, Not as we know it" but can live with it.....if every year was the same I wouldn't like that....makes me appreciate living here....(y)

April is a tad early for Galicia, as we found out when we cycled to Santiago a few years ago......

Mags52 I am very envious of you being in Galicia. I lived and worked in there (La Corunna) for 3 years during the 1980's and absolutely loved the place. I remember the first winter and spring I was there, how surprisingly cold and damp the weather was, very like the weather we have here in Cornwall where I now live. However, the summers were very different!! Have a great time.

Been near Peniscola for last week. Had some really good weather over a number of days with rain starting overnight. Hedn north towards Lloret de Mar and forecast rain for next couple of days before sunny over weekend and into next week🤞

We can see why you would love it. Beautiful green, rolling hills. We live in Scotland and it reminds us of the Highlands. We knew that the climate was like Cornwall but we didn't expect it to be quite so cold. As others have said, it seems to be like this everywhere. I read a book by a woman who had lived here and it inspired us to come and have a look. The beauty of motorhome travel eh? M

We head to Galicia in July/August/September to escape the heat of Murcia. We've had lovely +/- 26° temperatures up there when our friends and neighbours back home are suffering 40°+

It's not called Green Spain for nothing, although Murcia is Green (and flowery) Spain also at the moment 😊

Can we all stop saying how nice Galicia is....our local Med Coast is rammed in the winter, we certainly don't want our summer retreat to become the same....please stay at home and visit Cornwall....it has similar weather, Cream Teas, Pasties and nice beer...you won't need a ferry to get there, no language barrier and you can get Sat TV for those rainy days...support your own country and we will support ours.( I am a resident/Tax payer) so technically is mine...after all who wants to sit down and eat Cuttlefish, Octopus washed down with crisp chilled white wine...well I do....but not if you've got the last table in or favourite restaurant...😀👍🤔🇪🇦
