Does anyone know where the fuse for the rear lights is located on a Fiat please, the Fiat manual is as clear as mud!!

Probably Fuse No 58 (10a) under dash

I maybe able to help with a 2000 fiat , but you've not stated a vehicle year .

However , i would add , it's unlikely the rear lights are fused separately , normally it's with the side lights . So if you have sidelights on the front , i doubt it's the fuse . More likely it's an earth on the back end .

It’s a 2018 Aclass front side lights work, all marker lights down both sides work, brake lights, fog lights, and indicators okay, but back side lights and top marker lights are out.

Och , it does sound like a fuse , but i've never come across such an arrangement in 40 years , and that includes heavy trucks . Of course you have gotta check for a fuse , but i'm sorry me ole mucker , this is sounding more like wiring to me . Funny thing though , I'm pretty sure my Hymer side markers are fed from the rear cluster . I don't have top markers , but i would certainly expect them to also be fed from the rear cluster . I'm re-lamping my slide out bike rack right this minute .
I would further suggest the earth is unlikely to be the culprit in this case , though . On my van it's a common earth , and supplies the lot . This leaves just the positive , and of course that should blow the fuse , when it earths out . Unless the outer insulation it unbroken .

Look , forgive me for this , but you have checked the bulbs , ent ya . Yeah i know , but i gotta ask , because a car of mine failed the mot back in the 80's , with no brake lights .
When i got it home , i started ripping it apart , thinking it had to be the switch . However when i finally tracked it down , it turned out to be , yep you guessed it , the bloody bulbs . Both of them , and i kid you not !

I'm not sure if there are any fuses for the side lights. There aren't any for the indicators they rely on the electronics shutting down in the CANBUS modules.

Thanks yes checked the bulbs.
well done mate . I know it's a go too , but when both go down , it's only natural to think in a different direction .

Okay well , so i've just looked in my manual , there are two fuses 9 &10 for each headlight , main beam , left and right . 7&8 dipped beam , again left and right . 5 is front left side and tail light , but includes heater and switch light , and 6 is right , with instrument and number plate light being included here . A multimeter (amp meter) is also listed on fuse 6 , but marked option , my van doesn't have one fitted .
I do have a strange one , in that the rear appears to be fused separately on the minibus/combi . It's marked as tail lights , so i would guess that means both . Numbered as fuse 11 , 15 amp , with nothing else listed for that fuse .
Fuses 9&10 are 10 amp ,
7&8 are also 10 amp ,
5&6 are 7.5 amp .
All lighting appears to be confined , to fuses 5-10 , except for the minibus which unusually appears to have fuse 11 included .

So would they be located in the fuses under the steering wheel?

Well first off , my van is a much older . A year 2000 fiat . It's also a left hooker and my fuse box is in the glove box . Now , at first , it may seem like i'm giving you useless information , however it's not unusual for the same fuse numbering to be used through different models . I also listed fuse sizes , which is also commonly maintained , so should further aid location .
Lighting fuses will always be in the main fuse box . It's an essential item , which may need instant attention . They warrant a prominent location , with easy access . To be honest , i'm unfamiliar with your age van , so i can't be sure where your fuse box is , but my hunch is yes . There will only be one main fuse box , though it's not unusual for a smaller secondary one somewhere else .
If one is fitted , this will normally house fuses for options , sometime front fogs , maybe an engine option like coolant pre-heater , sometimes air con , or commonly in our case , a fridge . But lights , and things like windscreen wipers will always be in the main fuse box .

If it is any help there is a lot of information regarding the Fiat conversions electrical systems in Resources on the top blue line of this page , it is on page two in the Manuals for motorhomes stuff section.
If you do not have the Schauld fused adapter unit I have mentioned , the only link between the side lights and marker lights at the rear seems to be a possible earth one. or maybe a multi-plug connector.(the body control module does seem to control the marker lights ,as well as the rear lights , but as some are working I assume that that connection is ok)

Although my mh is totally different. The top rear corner lights and the side markers are on the number plate fuse, not the sidelights. Could be worth looking further.

Apparently they have no fuses for the lights on a canbus system, but I can report that after removing the bulb holders from the lenses, then replacing them all four lights came on, must have been a dodgy earth to have taken all four lights out at once.
