Function stalk not operational on 2016 Hobby Fiat Ducati

I have just changed the engine battery on the above Motorhome and starting the engine noticed that the operations on the multifunction stalk were not working /constant mpg/number of miles to empty tank/number of miles travelled A&B/time spent travelling etc
Could anybody give me advice on what the problem could be everything was working as it should before I changed the battery

With the ignition on Try holding the Trip button on the end of the stalk in for 10 seconds to see if it will reset , if that does not work have a look at the post in this section by Rusty Russ - title - Fiat Ducato Range wont work - and the reply posting No 19 may have the answer.
