What the h*ll is happening. My local filling station (cheapest) has been increasing prices by 1p per litre every day this week. If this carries on i won't even be able to afford to start the R.V. Let alone go anywhere in it. It's up to £111.9 a litre now for derv. Not a happy bunny.:swear::Angry:

Well it's never going to less than a pound a litre again.

Daily Express a few days ago reckon the £1.50 a litre not far off.

But don't worry because inflation is only 2%:RollEyes:

Tell me what hasn't gone up recently except our incomes?

With the exchange rates at present I think the fuel prices are pretty much the same for us in France these days:Sad:

HI Theres a rumour going around that red diesel is going to be phased out because off the european union :Eek!:but i have heard nothing

RAY

I too have heard that red diiesel is being phased out and the farmers plant operators etc will have to claim a rebate so checks for red diesel will no longer be required and farmers etc should not being able to sell off to the dodgy drivers meaning C&E only have to concentrate on fewer people!

I have just had three e'mails today all quotes for my fuelcards

1 93.6 ppl with vat = 109.98 ppl
2 96.16 ppl with vat = 112.99 ppl
3 96.19 ppl with vat = 113.02 ppl

When will it end???:Angry::Angry:

Regards Pat

Think you are right about the red Pat

The Brits are a SOFT race.

Never standing up to their feelings.

Let's stop wingeing and whining and DO something about it.

There was an article on the news stating that the price of oil per barrel had just reached a record high.

Yet we still drive on relentelessly.Where are the haulage firms.Buying it in bulk from abroad?

Remember the road blocks?

Where are they?

I think a lot of you might be tempted to go down the biodeisel route of fish and chip oil.

You can make 2500 litres with no need to register or pay duty, theres a video on here, sounds a bit complicated but interesting, he reckons 78 cents a gallon, thats 40p a gallon in our money!!!!!!

Google making biodiesel for more sites.

I believe Peter (PeterandBetty) is already working on this one.

Good on you.:thumb:

Some of us did, and were around when the boys in Westminster promised "cheap petrol" while they allowed drilling in the North Sea.

When I first started visiting the U.S. from the UK, they were complaining that petrol was $0.58/gallon. When we came here to live, one of our first cars was a large Buick station wagon (aka estate car) with a 7.4 litre engine. It got something like 5 MPG but, with gas (petrol) being so cheap, it felt like it was cheap to run it.

HI JUST A REMINDER that the gov will put another 2p on from april the 1st:thumb:n hi its no fool joke

 ray

You wouldnt think fuel was the price it is down here in Bournemouth and the new forest. Beautiful sunny day down here today and the roads were jam packed with trippers and joy riders. Folk will find the money for fuel whatever the chancellor and his mate red ken do to try and stop them driving.
Fuel down here varies between 106.9 at Asda and Tesco for Diesal, with Tesco offering a further 5p off if you spend X in store to the dearest small garages at 115.9. With The budget promising another 2-3p rise shortly i can quite see the express prediction being true by the end of the year. Our roads down here will still be clogged everytime the sun shines

Us hauliers can't do anything as regards last time with blockades!

The ministry has told us that if we participate in another blockade we will have our 'O' Licences revoked and thereby lose our livelyhoods!!!
