I am amazed by the price differentials for garages in the same area, thankfully the MH is pretty full as I try to keep it topped up (just in case) but I had to fill my car up today and the Esso garage in Rugeley was selling diesel at £1.66 a ltr which has gone up by 6p since Friday but the Esso in Lichfield was £1.62 which was the same as Fridays costs. I managed to fill up in Tesco for £1.54 ltr but 500 yds down the road Shell was charging £1.76ltr. I understand that many of the garages are franchised but incredible how the cost can differ by 22p within walking distance of each other.

Sainsbury's West Auckland Durham E10 144.9p and diesel 150.9p

Just been shopping in Almunecar and fuel has gone up 20 cents in the past couple of weeks here.

As Shell, who supply all of the U.K. supermarkets, are still buying oil from Russia I'm staying well away from them. Don't care how much it costs elsewhere. Esso diesel in Harrogate is £1.56.9, unleaded is £1.53.9
Shell may supply some supermarkets but much of is on contract from independent storage such as Vopak

I was planning to go to Cornwall next month for a nostalgia visit to friends and colleagues but it's about 600 miles there and back (30 gallons diesel = £214) but as I live near Newhaven I'll just drive the 40 mile round trip to and from France ( i.e. £14 for diesel to Newhaven port and back home) and the £174 saved on diesel will pay for the ferry return.

I think the question should be who is not supplied by the Russian Federation?
Have you got your rationing cards?
Watch inflation take a real hold, and the value of your pension fall daily in noticeable amounts.
Not quite at the barter stage, however it's not far off.
Mind you we motorhome owners are perfectly placed to house Ukrainian refugees that are on there way as I type.
At least and this is not tongue in cheek can do something positive by offering our motorhome.

A11 at snetterton diesel £1.71 I filled up at sainsburys attleborough £1.54, only lpg pump in Norwich just filled up at 99.9p per litre.

I filled my Toyota on Thursday at the Esso garage in Shirebrooke it cost me £114 to fill. With the fuel card I get 3 p a litre off.

Have you seen the price of heating oil (kerosene) checked yesterday near £130ltr dearer than red diesel but later not recommended for use in condensing boilers.

Coming home on Sunday Shell diesel north of the Humber Bridge £1.72. Shell in Grimsby £1.52. A village garage in the Yorkshire Dales £1.48. That proves how crazy the fuel price situation has become.

Thanks to the pound to Zloty at I/6 exchange rate the cost of diesel is now back to one pound per lt

[Pound key has gone apeshit]
