My new campervan has an electric only Truma fridge which won't turn off.

I'm not on hook up, I've followed the instructions (press power button for 2 seconds), I turned off the 12V supply at the control panel, I switched the RCD for the circuit that's labelled fridge, I even turned off ALL the circuit breakers and the fridge continues to display a power-on light.

Only pulling the respective fuse (under the passenger seat) finally turned off the fridge.

I assume the root cause is with the power switch on the fridge, but why did the circuit breaker not isolate / turn off the fridge?

I'll phone my dealer tomorrow but has anyone an idea what's going on?

Circuit breaker will only turn off 230v supplied by hookup, which you aren't on, then it will auto select 12v.

My Waeco wont switch off, have been controlling it by removing the fuse for too long. must get a new switch
