On holiday in Hungary dometic fridge freezer stopped working we are parked on a slope would that stop it working

The newer fridges are better at coping with slopes, ours (dometic 2014)has never had a problem, 5% tolerance springs to mind ?

We are on quite a slope all though no warning light coming on fridge

not long enough
are you on EHU or gas? my understanding is gas is more sensitive to a slope, but why not get a bit more level to rule out that issue (y)

any odd smells? ours lost its refrigerant last year, awful ammonia smell

No we can’t go on level ground on hook up only odd smell we think was the food can’t see any liquid outside had bottom grill of no sign of any problem

I think the issue with being on a slope is that the refrigerant can not circulate properly, even if the heat from gas or electric is working.
