Fridge not freezing on mains electric, works on gas - help

Have you checked fuses? although I have no idea if that would also stop it working on gas.

If it has been confirmed that mains power is getting to the fridge it could be that the fridge 230v heater element is faulty and needs replacing , which model of Dometic fridge is it ?

The fridge control board works on 12V from the leisure battery, so if it works OK on gas then the control board is getting its 12V OK.

It switches the power source to 240V when that option is selected. So you need to check that the breaker for the fridge 230V hasn't tripped. Then check that 240V is getting to the fridge - as GeoffnDee says, if it is reaching there OK then probably the 240V heater element has failed. Usually you can access the wiring and elements through the lower external vent at the rear of the fridge.
