Hi All,

Hope to learn from all your wealth of 'ferry travelling' advice, please.

Travelling to Portsmouth and taking the ferry to Santander. Not sure how long the fridge freezer will fare on the journey and don't want to end up with a puddle and soggy, smelly food when we reach Spain.
I think the ferry arrives early evening but we have a small (portable) fridge we can use for the essential, fresh milk.
Any help appreciated
Thank you

As long as it's in good condition, especially the seals, and as long as you make sure it's properly down to temperature first it should be fine as long as you don't open it.

It's the freezer that will suffer, they only get to about - 14 anyway so after about 12 hours stuff will start to defrost.
