in our Bailey 620 SE we have a switch under one of the beds that is an isolation switch for a heater apparently to heat the fresh water tank. The manual doesn't mention it. Will this be run from the leisure battery or only when on mains hookup? I've only just found this switch.

@Fletton-thanks. Next time I'm at the van, I'll check the voltages of the leisure battery as I turn the switch on and off.

It will be on a clixon type switch that switches on at 2°c so difficult to test in summer. Ours has got something similar on the waste tank, no switch inside so don't know if it's ever come on or what current it takes.

If not on EHU then it will be a big drain on the leisure batteries especially as it will only be used in conjunction with very cold weathe

Don't think I've ever seen an onboard fresh tank with a heater before - Normally only find these on underslung tanks?

I think as a precaution, I'll keep it turned off. Didn't even know it was there until I was hoovering under the seat. Strange that the Bailey manual doesn't mention it. And the label suggests that it isn't a later addition.
