I am placing our motorhome up for sale.

I would appreciate feedback on the advert and also on the asking price (as it is not a common M/home).

Franky is in excellent condition and it only because we have recently purchased an apartment abroad that it is up for sale.

November 2009 Frankia 6400BD A class motorhome. End Bathroom £39,995.00

Sprinter chassis 3.88 Tonne MAM. Approx payload 650kg.

Rear wheel drive. One previous owner.

2.1 CDI 150 BHP mated to 5G fully automatic gearbox

61000 miles

Full service history

Mot till 21st March 2020 - I am happy to re mot prior to sale.

Location Stafford.

A quality German built motorhome Frankia 6400 was their interpretation of the Hymer B544 and in my opinion, Frankia does it better.

Double floor construction. This results in a fully winterised motor home, as all pipework and tanks are insulated within the double floor. The double floor design also results in masses of storage space.

With a 150 ltr fresh water tank, spare Thetford cassette and 250 watts of solar you can wildcamp for longer.

As the main bed is a pull down, this leaves lots of room for a large lounge. The sliding table further assists in maximising the interior space. When you consider that this motorhome is only 6.5 metres long, it offers massive usable space when compared to fixed bed variants.

Rear full width bathroom. Full size shower

Economical - I have averaged 27MPG over the last 7000 miles

FSH - Services at 5523,13073,23289,29393,37095,50503,54747 and 59346 miles

We are reluctantly selling our motor home as we now have purchased an apartment abroad. This motorhome is ready to go and is in excellent condition.

Nice looking MH ... the love child of Postman Pat's van and a bread van ... which I love with it's stubby nose! :D

Might be a good idea to say where you are located.

Watching the price tag with interest. We have a 5.5 ton 3ltr Frankia i8400 on the Merc chassis, the same vintage but with 30,000 miles and 1500kgs payload. I've seen the same van on dealer sites recently for £49,995. I don't think your pricing is too far out but you may have to think of it as dealer, rather than a private sale price?
