In the near future we will be changing the forum software. The change is forced upon us as the software we use now is to cease to be supported by the developers so should an exploit be found it would not be patched leaving us all vulnerable

In essence the system will be very similar to what you enjoy now. There will be a list of forums and you'll be able to post in them using and editor much like the one we use now. Subtle differences might infuriate some while they learn the new system, but the change will not be so great that it causes you major problems, if any.

That said.. We have some addons that will not be immediately supported. The first of those is the garage and the classifieds so any items or photo's you have in there that you don't want to lose please take a copy as soon as you can. We won't be replacing the garage anytime soon but we will have a new classifieds, so you'll be able to add any current adverts to it just after we change over. :thumb:

Will we all have to re-register, sort out avatars etc, or will they transfer?

You will be registered, there is a small chance you may have to upload a new avatar as the new system uses smaller avatars than we use presently. :thumb:
