Well the season starts again for the lower league clubs. I know this will make some people happy (myself) or others irate (the missis). But hey, ho. Just thought I would see the lie of the land of who supports who and how it came about.

I am a Macclesfield Town fan. As went to neighbouring clubs as a younger lad and it grew too expensive (Man u, Stoke, Port Vale) but watched Macc and wont look back. Fingers crossed we remain in league 2. ??

West Brom have been for over sixty years boing boing

Norwich fan...
Not quite good enough [wealthy] for the Premiership, too good [skill] for the Championship, so we yoyo... it's very stressful.

For the first time, in a long while, I've subscribed to a sports channel... it's only BT Sports, but then again it's only £5/mth on my PlusNet broadband.

Shame on you! Up the Posh. (Fleetwood 3.00 pm all welcome, even Canaries). Only kidding, good luck with the friendly today and I can't wait for Friday just hope it's on TV

Off to watch Tranmere v Rochdale this afternoon
??
Then Everton v Wolves 1st Sep ?

The Mighty Luton Town.
5 years ago playing non league football.
Now back to where we belong.
In my time seen us in the top league as one of the most attractive footballing sides.
Dropping down to the lowest league then up again before being taken over by crooks.
Wanting to make millions on the back of the club, fan revolt and forced the club into admin to remove the crooks.
Taken over by a team of luton fans but punished by the FA with 18 point deduction causing us to drop out of the league, not before winning the football league trophy.
5 years out of the league before 3 promotions back to the championship.
New ground in the process of being built with appartment blocks, shopping, bars restaurants and large venue space, opening the river to make a nice area. An out of town complex with aspirational shopping centre, office spaces, appartments with leisure complex.
Lead by the club the whole town is on the way up.

The mighty Reds of Wrexham.

Fan owned and 3rd oldest club in the world - 1864.

I’ll be there today to watch us play Barrow. After 12 seasons in non-league, this is our season and we’re going back up!

Good luck with your season Glas Robin
Remember playing you from the old (proper) 2nd division down to non league. The nicest of the welsh football clubs.
Have watched your results and think you deserve to get your league status back but getting out of the national leave is very difficult a number of ex league clubs and new clubs with money all going for those 2 places.
Good luck and hope you do it this time.

Good luck this season and a new ground, always find it a strange experience visiting your away end, you through someone's back garden, up the steps outside their bedroom window with a clear view inside and then through a time warp where you find yourself back in the 1930's. Fabulous football second half of last season, unbeatable.

Oh dear - so soon! Each to their own but it’s not for me. Overpaid drama queens springs to mind.

West Ham for me, not much a of a surprise. I had intended giving up season ticket this year, too much motorhoming, meant missing quite a few games, ticket also rose in price too £860. But apparent 3year waiting list for tickets so hung in for another year.
