We’re looking for a mat to put outside the van to stand on, wipe feet and put our recycling box on whilst away.
Door mats are too small and breathable awning mats too big.
Ideally about 1m x 2m would be good. Can then be easily rolled up and attached to bike rack.
One option is to buy the smallest awning mat and cut to size, but did wander if there is anything already on the market.

we found that the mats dont last long especially if parked on Gravel it rips the bottom of the rug to shreds so i dont think there is an easy answer, for this, you could i suppose make a base out of pressure treated timber that could easily be dismantled and stored

We use a piece of artificial grass, it is less likely to blow away than lightweight mats but does hold a bit of water, I put it stood up in the garage in a small bucket but on a rack at the back would be OK.

Aldi have some heavy door mats for sate, they can be pressure washed. However, they are only about 90cm x 100cm.

We bought an outdoor rug from Tescos when they were in stock.
Plastic construction and very light.
Stand on it to take our shoes off and brush any muck off them.
The closest I could find online is in the link

We use an artificial style mat but it is normal mat size.

For what size you are looking for we have often used the black breathable matting we buy from the hardware shop in Spain. I think it may even be the same stuff to put under gravel or bark clippings in the garden to suppress weeds that you buy here at the garden centre. It’s cheap, fully washable and does not hold the water. Can be easily rolled and cut to size then we put those plastic rings in the corner to peg it down with the flat round head pegs so as not to stub our toes.

G\o to Spain in early April and stay on one of the ACSi sites where the big expensive German motorhomes stay for the entire winter,Bravoplaya near Oropesso is your best bet. These Germans throw loads of good stuff away before heading home. We never take an awning mat with us when we go to Spain and always find a lovely one near the bins.

I use these interlocking foam rubber mats. They're 60cm x 60cm, weigh nothing and wipe clean.
