Probably dropped off the 'special team' and on its way back home to Mildenhall. We get quite a few of Ospreys over here in the East and a lot of everything else to be honest.

We quite often have a pair fly over us.
They take off from Mildenhall, fly to Tewkesbury and return to Mildenhall.
You can not miss the noise they make.

Flight Radar 24 doesn't usually show military stuff.. use https://globe.adsbexchange.com/ instead. It's a little more rudimentary. USAF generally don't use their transponders. Neither do RAF F35s.

It does show quite a few - the fast jets fly over here on the way to the Mach Loop from the East Coast and most of them appear on FR.

ADS-B showing military traffic currently over Europe, however this won't show all traffic. US aircraft go 'secret squirrel' unless they want to be seen.

Or stopping to pick up cheap fuel, which it is in Oostende. Operations used to ask us to use it if we had abnormal headwind on Larnaca- Manchester, which was about max range for a B737-300 and one day I had a return 'passenger' in a lead-lined coffin (they have to be to avoid fluids corroding the aluminium) as extra weight. Sorry to spoil dinner.

Nope - too far north.

I know it’s the call sign but wondered what the aircraft was as the only reference to BOLOs that I could find were WW11 B18 bombers, none of which are still flying.

Currently there is an exercise taking place called 'Cobra Warrior' involving aircraft from UK, Germany and Poland. Waddington is a very active RAF facility and folk are parked at the viewing area all day.
