MH
just looking
Greetings - I am happy to have found this useful resource of information website and enthusiastic MH owners.
I am yet to take the step (into the unknown!) - Currently browsing at all of the MH variants of which there are many
I have a C1 licence and I guess that is an aid prior to any purchase.
My realistic budget would be hovering around the 38k mark -
i have not driven larger than a car - well not since my younger free and easy days on the old dodge mail vans - I have a preference for an automatic vehicle , though not essential. .
The Merc chassis seems to get decent reviews and most of the Mercs fall into the Auto category- At this initial stage , I am just taking in information found on here etc . An Autotrail Appache caught my eye in an advert -( FIAT-AUTO) (which is what took me to this forum link and some references to water ingress - winterisation etc which has dampened (no pun) my enthusiasm a little ) and so throwing an open invitation seems a good idea at this stage - With ref to my budget, any links /ideas = a point in the right direction to a decent 3/4 berth MH with good reviews/ reliability - warranty would be appreciated , Brian .

Hi and welcome, have a nose on Oaktree
Motorhomes, looking at layouts, the payload, places to store or park on your drive, may impact on the size of your potential new motorhome, yes agree this is a great forum, so many people with great knowledge, experience( not me) but always seem to find the answers from someone on here
Good luck 🤞

Welcome from Warwickshire!(y)

Look at as many ‘vans as you can, but keep an open-mind as to layout, and try to imagine how you would use it….
Would you be travelling alone or with others……..?

Personal tip. Hold back £3000 of your budget to sort any problems you find and add toys that you want - better batteries, solar, etc....
