Hi Funsters,
Currently researching the best (or what we think is the best) layout for our first MH. We'd like to be able to put the 2 kids to bed (13yo boy and 10yo girl) and still have room to chill, drink play board games/cards etc. To this end we're looking at end bunks vs end dinette. I think it's pretty obvious that in bad weather the end dinette will provide good useable space for all, moreso than bunks. Although there is usually another table area toward the front of the MH in these layouts, is having both better when kids are involved?
Am I right in thinking the end dinette layout is easily used as 2 singles?
I also recognise that storage is very useful, and that end bunk beds tend to allow bigger storage when travelling if you fold the bottom bunk up.
Anybody have any experience with these layouts and could discuss the practical pros and cons please?
