Hope you have better weather than us Trev, we had planned to do france this time and hang around waiting for our friends to catch up, they cross on the 8th, but as our apartment is booked until mid October Portugal is looking very favourable at the moment.

But things might improve as the soggies @laneside Alan and Linda have left for the UK, that explains all the rain at the moment. Bob.

OK so I posted elsewhere that we were in Baiona,we are now at Foz,in between we went to Vila do Conde and Costa de Lavos. Should mention that I visited Mercadona before leaving Spain to get a carafe of my favourite glue, then a scoot round Pingo Doce when we got into Portugal to see what deals were on offer. And I can tell you lots. (y) We are staying at Foz for the weekend as one it's the Aragon MotoGP and two it's our wedding anniversary on Sunday,so will be going you the excellent restaurant in the village to commiserate (celebrate).

We left Foz to meet up with our friends at Pego do Altar, stopped at Lidl to get a few things and bumped into @teknik155 who was also staying there. The water in the dam looked very low as we found out the next day when we went to the Santa Susana end to find it was that low it had exposed an old bridge (Roman?). Decided not to stay there and left for Alcacer do Sal,parking at the bullring. On the way along the road there were a number of cranes gathered in a field and just before dusk hundreds of them flew over town, think that was them starting their migration to Africa.

Got to Porto Covo today to find that the free aire in the centre of town is no longer, there is a new aire in the football stadium but it's more like a prison camp. The gate is only open from 9-11 in the morning and 5-7 at night, only staying tonight as we are going out for a meal so be warned. (n) (n)  It's ā‚¬3 a day, shower is an extra ā‚¬1.
