Finger Pad..

A few yrs ago, when first introduced to a laptop, i used to slide my finger down the finger pad and the screen slid down, without going to the side bar.....what happened, it doesn't do that no more...
How do i get this back? thanks...

yes, i have now...still no joy....must add, this is laptop +2 since than...

have a look in the settings for the finger pad

Try the extreme right hand side of the touchpad.

That's where my finger lives on the extreme right..i normally wear a furrow...
