Well even with our recent journeys we are finding it increasingly difficult to find time for our motor home.
with the wee-man now playing rugby nearly every weekend or training.
I now realist that we can no longer divide our self's in two.
Most week i just don't have the time now between work commitments and family commitment's to ether mentane the van and look after Lynn who health is deteriorating
soume thing has to give so i have made the decision to lay the van up.
i am laying the van up not leaving fun you don't get rid of me that easily

many many years! since I was a kid
we went through that phase, but still got away for the school holidays Bill. worth keeping the van though even as a man cave. caring for your partner takes its toll and sometimes that bolthole helps restore your sanity

Nothing is for ever - circumstances will change and you will start travelling again xx

@Janine is right, there was time thanks to my kids Judo, swimming football school whatever that made us not go away as much as we wanted. But there's holidays for school kids Bill. At the moment we have been away 12 out of 13 weeks, partly due to having the house done up but partly down to my running or cycling events. We now use the van for these more than anything else. Or a rock and roll weekend a good old fashioned piss up next weekend for a few of us, you never know what turns up and having done the van, keep it going.
