Does anyone know where we can buy figure of 8 plastic channel in 1.2m + lengths? We have 1m lengths which don't work well with 2.2m porch awning :( Also how do you stop this channel from sliding out of place - use something as stop ends? Suggestions please...

Just checked dimensions & need 9mm stop ends not 6mm so don't think that the Fiamma Caravanstore pawls will work for us - any other ideas for stop ends that fit in the figure of 8 channel? Easy to remove rubber bungs?

Ear plugs????

Another thought ... if you can get a piece of wooden dowel, or some of the little dowel pieces that are used to make furniture about 2cm long, or a dimension that will slot into your awning channel, you could make your own pawls by drilling a small hole in the centre and putting a small bolt in ... basically a wooden version of the metal ones on Ebay ... alternatively if you have some plastic dowel that would do too.

As for the length of the figure of 8 plastic channel ... we have 3 bits - 2 longer ones and a smaller bit that goes in the middle of them. You can actually buy much longer pieces but I can't remember where from or how much and the only downside to the long ones is then storing them.
