Fiat Ducato Riviera
Hi, this is my first post on here. Sold my narrow boat a few years ago and now dived head first into the Motorhome world.
So, I bought a Fiat Ducato riviera 171 2006 about a month ago. Very pleased with it and the seller said that the leaf springs had been uprated a few years earlier. The van has only done around 33000 miles. Early this week it failed the MOT on a snapped middle leaf. I contacted the seller and he gave me the link to the company that he bought the springs from. MRS leafsprings.co.uk
The link said £300 plus VAT for heavy duty Ducato springs so I wanted to just buy the one spring. I’m not sure if this is really the thing to do though.
I’ve contacted the company this morning and they’ve just quoted me £450 plus VAT delivered as they are none standard.
So my questions are, can anyone send me a link to a firm that makes suitable springs for this van? Is it more sensible to buy a pair rather than a single? I’ve read a tiny amount about air suspension. I’ve no idea what this is or even if it’s feasible.
Any help gratefully received .

The problem with replacing one spring that is not standard is matching the uprated one, if that makes sense.

With air assist you still would need the leaf springs.

PF Jones springs in the Manchester area are good for springs
I got mine from PF Jones. They were brilliant, fit perfectly and never had an issue with them.

Recommended.
