I decided to service my Van Conversion as it is now 2 years old. Oil change went OK, although the oil filter and filter drain plug were very tight! I bought a round air filter which was listed for my van, but looking at the housing, it looks as though it is a different type, maybe the type attached? Has anyone replaced this type of air filter, as I have removed the screws I can see, but the cover does not want to come off? The fuel filter was also the wrong one, so a trip to Fiat tomorrow to get the right one. I bought from AutoDoc, but just been on their site, and I am out of time to return it! I will list them on here, so if they fit your van, let me know.

Apparently it is different because it is an automatic, so the round air filter does not fit.
I am now in the same position - I need to change the air filter, have undone all the screws around the housing but I am loathe to apply any more force unless I damage anything. Has anyone carried out an air filter change on the 9 speed auto that can answer this query please?

Long shot, but do you need to remove the whole housing first?, I did the filter on herselfs Alhambra ( I know it´s not a Fiat) and there are screws underneath holding the filter in.

Sorry about the delay in replying, just seen your reply. you need to remove the hose clip, I just levered it off with a screw driver, and replaced it with a jubilee clip. Also remove the screws holding the top lid down. I also removed the screw holding the air intake in place, as it makes it easier to remove. I have attached some pictures.
