Looks like lockdown days

Lovely
To be fair it's like this all year apart from school holidays..
They really work had to keep it clean..tractor and quad bikes clean the sand.
And street cleaners out all year round.
Bins emptied every day..and there is loads of them..
It's not benidorm so no loud piss heads or euro pints ..275e for a 5% pint .

Everyone is friendly

Best Beach in Spain really fine sand. Last time we were there on the Paseo lots of Stag Beatles that are protected in the area were pushing turds all over and l always remember those rather than the Beach unfortunately.
Yes the beach goes for miles. And is as you say nice fine sand.. there is no big drop offs going into the water also.
Nice port/harbour that the public can walk round with a restaurant ...fresh water tap in the car park šŸ˜‰.
We've been to a few beaches in our time and this is one of our favourites

Grau gandia? Yeah not too far. We used to eat in some of the seafront restaurants years ago. Nice beach ,bit more popular than Oliva for tourists ,not sure why , maybe more bucket and spade shops. ?. Has a better promenade for walking for sure. As Oliva only has one at each end .

If we're travelling clockwise around Spain, Oliva is our first coastal stop.
We love that beach. You can walk along it for miles, and it's so dog-friendly.
The town and the Friday Market are interesting, too.
Hope to be there some time in February šŸ¤ž

Well when I mean wild camping I really mean overnight parking in either side streets to the beach or carparks Three streets back from the beach.
There is also an area on the north side of Kiko park that is empty ,
The car park opposite pan beach restaurant (photo of roundabout) has had a few PVC parked overnight..
couple with the top popped.

Not seen any Brits but the Dutch and Germans certainly know about this hidden gem and overnight with no worries.. lydl also allow motorhome parking 1km from beach.
Roads behind and next to lydl always have a few motorhomes parked up.

Also in the centre of Oliva town (1.5km) from the beach there are a few large gravel carparks. No height restrictions and free. I think as long as the table and chairs don't come out then it's fine.

I thought wilding was now banned in Valencia.
I take it you haven't had any problems?

The rules are still the same, any form of camping is illegal, so no dumping of waste no chairs/ awnings just park. šŸ™‚
The parking of motorhomes occupied or not is allowed, providing it's not anywhere with signs or national park / nature areas and the motorhomes are parked properly as you would in a car, if bays are marked it must be within the bay.
I think the limit is 2 days. šŸ¤”
If people stick to the rules it's fine, but unfortunately many can't and spoil it for others. šŸ˜„ Bob.

Two true ..if people come on there own and not groups of motorhomes and park just back from the beach (properly) then no one batts an eyelid..

Great beach and certainly the best in that area (Valencia) that we've come across. But best in Spain? I think there are several better, especially on the west coast of Galicia and across the top of Spain, albeit where it's cooler and wetter. We love Oliva though. Kiko Park and Eurocamping are two sites we've really enjoyed. Kiko is best for getting to shops, bars and restaurants on foot or bike though.

Right on the beach campsite, bus from campsite takes you into town. (y)
