We have had a right dodgy old table probably purchased from Lidls 10 years ago which we have stored in the garage and wedge it in beside the motorbike, like you do.

With the amount of reallocated suzuki address paint on the table I am in the market for a new table.

Normally only the 2 of us. The wife is likely to eat off a plate placed on the table whereas I am much more of an eat it off my lap with my fingers sort of person but the table will hold my beer.

Is there a "go to" table, that possibly goes inside a suitcase type thing which is sturdy enough to hold my wine, beer and most other drinks. Would consider those slatty things the french seem to love.

All styles considered, advice sought

We've got one of these Broken Link Removed
Folds \ rolls up into a bag maybe around 8" in diameter. Seats four comfortably but think they do a two seater as well.

We use one of these, folds in half and can be used at full high for dinning or half high as a table for drinks and nibbles.
It's very light, but I don't know what they were think about with then silly mesh thing which we took off and binned.

We've got one of these, it folds in half to form a 'suitcase' and you can adjust the height, you might find it cheaper elsewhere.

IMO The most important part of a camping table is one with individually adjustable leg lengths to get rid of the shoogle factor and therefore not needing a dod o wood to go under one leg....nothing worse than a shoogly beer platform
🤣🤣

We have a roll up slatty one. Very sturdy and seats 4 to 6. smaller one are available.

Went for a solid Outwell with adjustable legs. Very stable and a good buy.

Well you did say all styles considered. We have a sturdy folding teak table, and two folding teak and canvass 'directors' chairs, ex-patio at the house.

But then we have a large garage and the payload to carry them.

I have use one of these for years, folds up really small and is light.... it has its moments but on the whole it does what it’s supposed to do..

We've been using one very similar (if not identical) for over 12 years. I concur with Just smiffy , very light and packs up very small.

Take a look at Homebase. I have a sturdy plastic one that folds in half and has adjustable legs and it’s the best table I have owned. Check out their webpage as there are various sizes available. The range is known as Lifetime.

The lifetime tables are usually also available at Costco. We have both sizes and they are fantastic quality and a great price.

We have a winner.
plumped for this one over minxies on the basis it might be black. Like the idea of different heights, somewhere to throw the crossword books and individually adjusted legs, with the whole thing folding up nicely at a reasonable price.

I ll get it next week and I l find out if I was right or not when she gets to see it

The mesh shelf underneath is a bit of a pain for us.

It can be cut off and turned into stockings if necessary
You don't have to be that drastic with it as it unclips.

If the netting gets in the way for dinning mode, then just unclip one side and wrap it around the crossmember it's fixed to the other end. (y)

We’ve currently got an Outwell Kamloops folding bamboo top table. It hasn’t been very durable at all after 3 years and is quite heavy. We’re in the middle of replacing it with a Isabella lightweight table.

We've got one of these. We use it inside and outside the van when we're having something quick. It can be built and dismantled in seconds and folds away and takes very little space and is sturdy, can't recommend it enough (y)

We have one of those too.
