A long time
The drop down bed in our Exsis-i drops slowly whilst driving.

We have nothing stored up there but the factory fitted mattress and it has only been used on a handful of occaisions.

Any suggestions?

My drop down bed ( Hymer B525) has a seatbelt sized strap and clip to hold it up. I'd be surprised if yours didn't have something similar. Without it I know ours comes down if you go over bumps!

On our Exsis I the friction buckle of the strap has never been enough to hold it on its own. You need to knot the loose end of the strap back round itself to stop it dropping down.

Same on mine!

Thank you all. I am using the knotted strap idea. Still not perfect.

I was hoping for a better solution. But, thank you anyway.

When we had our Exsis had same problem I fitted a small ratchet strap which worked well as could not slipšŸ˜Š
just donā€™t over tighten it thoughšŸ˜Š

Ours is the same.

I changed the struts which helped a lot.

Donā€™t do this yourself unless your nuts though! It was torrid!

The struts needed some sideways padding to keep the bed stable side to side (and stop the metal on metal ratling).

That has helped although it now needs a bit more TLC.
