Hi all, any suggestions for European breakdown assistance for the above, I thought that Saga offered it but apparently not.
Many thanks,
Mike

We opened a Nationwide flexplus current account £13 a month but £6 interest if you keep £2500 in it. Motorhomes up to 8m, 7.5 tonnes euro breakdown, travel insurance and other things included. Never had to use the insurances so can't comment on their effectiveness.

Thanks to both above replies, I have done that previously, but now they are saying max 3.5 tonne

Thanks to all who replied, after my fourth phone call to Saga, and a fourth person, I eventually got confirmation that they do cover large vehicles. Just goes to show how you have to be so carefull with call centre operatives. Thanks again .

I did try saga 12 months ago but not good enough for myself, the policy booklet still says max weight 3500kg max length 7.0, max height 3.0, max width 2.25m.

RAC Arrivals either thru CMC or CCC cover me 12 tonne 12mtr :xThumb:

You could try AIB . I'm covered for home start, 180 days European cover included 4.25Ton 7.8m. My policy was taken out with them and the breakdown is an add on but I don't know if they offer it as a stand alone

We Know the RAC arrivals scheme works we used it following an Auto gearbox failure

I have used them in UK,,Very good.

Just checked NW site still says 8m & 7.5 tonne.
Yes it is I had to ring them today for my car and when I looked at my paperwork it said,8m and 7.5 tonnes.
We haven’t used it before but we were very impressed the breakdown truck was here in half an hour and they took us to the tyre place in Carmarthen.
