TBH we always overnight at Eurotunnel. Go through the barriers, ensure your hanger (ticket) can be seen from the outside and don't park too close to the building (as a few coaches can decant some noisy kids)

I was always under the impression that they wouldn't let you ... what time do you usually arrive and what time do you cross?

They wouldn't let us stop in December , our booking was for 1 in the morning but we got there at 9 at night and they said because our crossing was the next day , by the clock , we had to come out and go back after 12 midnight.
