I'm just wasting a couple of hours reading comments about EU breakdown cover on various MH forums and someone mentioned 2gether Motor breakdown ins.

Their homepage has the title 'Motorhome breakdown cover - including campervans' ...
4 levels: 1) Annual economy cover £26. 2)Full UK with homestart £45. 3)Full UK & EU with homestart £69. 4)3 years UK & EU cover £135...

All motorhomes covered up to 26' ...

Then read the small print: cars/vans/bikes covered up to 3.5t - excluding any vehicle with living accommodation.

Hmm...

Yep, been with Adac a few years now :thumb:

Also we're in France - no probs. If on an Autoroute it doesn't matter which organisation you're with, you have to be recovered by the Autoroute's recovery setup. Once off the m'way your own B/down cover kicks in and reimburses the cost.

You have decide what cover is best for you, and the biggest problem we have long stay.

Everyone said RAC Arrival through the Camping and Caravan Club, no restriction on size ect, but only 90 day trips.

Adac 92 day trips.

So although every year Saga put the premium up, we have to ring them for the best price that is normally about £25 less than the quote they send through, makes them compatible with others, and no restrictions on how long we wish to stay away. :thumb: Bob.

No restrictions for breakdown(s) - the 92 day limit is for illness/accident/health repatriation.

Stcyr beat me to it - ADAC covers breakdown 365 days / year. The time limit applies to the additional benefits.

Incidentally I had to call them last week for the car (nail in tyre and only a daft inflation kit!). One call to Germany, discussed problem in perfect English, located my position exactly and offered to get me a taxi home if unable to fix. I then received a text from AA international in Lyon advising response time (70 minutes) followed a few minutes later by a text from AA UK to confirm arrival time. The 'man that can' arrived within the hour and had me on my way 30 minutes later thanks to some 'Slime'. One very satisfied customer!:thumb:

Hmm cant remember now, we looked at a few a couple of years ago, but happy with Saga at the moment, I think the other thing wih adac was the hight of 3m, our last motorhome was over that

Would be interested to hear from people that spend 180 days in Spain and had problems and what the service was like, :winky::winky: is it all its cracked up to be, if so might consider them next time.::bigsmile: Bob.
