Hi Funsters, has anybody replaced the exhaust fan and pcb on Truma E combi? In my 2017 Adria 670sl. Let me down yet again last weekend. Last time I googled and found a suggestion to tap the motor housing which did work but not for long. So could be carbon build up or pcb it seems. I’m pretty capable mechanically and as I don’t seem to be able to find anywhere around Essex able to look at it for weeks, prepared to give it a go but can’t find any guidance on the net… any advice appreciated guys!

If you were tapping the left hand side on the grill cover and got it working temporarily try removing the grill cover (it's push on only) and clean out the fan with a 1/2" paintbrush.
The fan can get clogged very easily especially if you have a long haired hound like ours!

Many thanks Gellyneck! I’ll give that a go, it’s away having a minor paint job this week so will try at the weekend. We are selling it so don’t want to lumber somebody else with any problems.

Rozzer There is a Truma combi strip down description in the Motorhome technical Articles of the Resources section on the top line of this page that could be useful to you if you do need to go into this further.

Gellyneck - many thanks! Got the paintbrush in there, vacced it - just a bit dusty, no big deposits, now working fine, owe your one👍
If the Combi hasn't been operated for a while the dust can becoming "gummy" and stop \ slow down the fan. Boiler doesn't like this and throws a wobbly.

Cleaning out with a brush tends to "break" the stickiness by rotating the fan.

I brush out ours every year or so after we had this problem and, funnily enough, will be doing it in next couple of weeks.

Pleased your sorted and, hopefully, it stays working.🤞
