I wondered if there was anyone knows that person that has changed their ways! And could advise
I’m looking at security, immobilisers, etc!
Ideas to slow “them” down or even discourage altogether? Your thoughts would be appreciated!

Same as everyone else
Steering wheel locks
Wheel clamps
Pedal locks
Door plates
Security locks
OBD port lock
Tracker

Etc

Always try to park next to a newer more flash vehicle.

additional layers of security seem to be most popular methods, we add to ours with a neos camera in the motorhome and when we go away, we 'connect' it to the mifi. all images go to the cloud - it might not deter them getting in, but they may decide to 'vacate the premises' if they realise they have been caught on camera???

Kill switch to fuel pump (not sure if you can still do this on modern vans)

Vanbitz alarm with lots of flashing blue lights, mine works, it even stops the dog walkers from letting their pooches pee on my wheels

Lock the two front seats in a backwards position.
Do not leave the blinds down as any interior security devices can be removed out of sight.
I put a notice in a window saying that every item has been marked with the VIN number and any extra fittings photographed.
VIN Chip.
Vehicle registration number on the roof.
Clutch/brake pedal lock.
