I have friends giving up caravanning who want to buy a motorhome up to 7.5 metres but with a drop down bed at each end that sleeps 4/5.

Has anyone heard of such a beast?

pretty sure burstener do one saw one at Manchester show.
Drop down over front and lounge at rear that had second drop down.
Ixeo or nexxo range at a guess

Does it need to be a drop down at the rear?

Sounds good - I’ll send them to have a look at these. Many thanks.

This is exactly what I am looking for (when I change my van in a few years time) have seen a few at shows including the Burstner (think one was a Carthago also) mainly "A" Class with drop down over cab as normal and a further drop down in the lounge area there was one had a rear C shaped lounge with large rear shelf over a standard A class garage and a drop down bed that came down to a standard bed height cant remember the make but do recall a new price of over £150,000 (a bit out of my league). I did get details of a few back in October last year but as I decided to wait a few years chucked them all away but if I can find any details (or more likely if the better half has a better memory than me) I will let you know what they were

sounds like they are looking for something that doesn't exist so they can keep their caravan

Benimar miles 282 sleeps 4

The biggest problem with a rear lounge imho is the garages aren't big enough so nowhere to put bikes/scooter.

We've frequently seem to bump into someone else who've had their bikes stolen off racks, sometimes more than once.

We saw the Burstner one at the Manchester show. We were really impressed with it but then we looked at the thickness of the matresses on them. Far too thin for my back. Also were do you store the bedding, especially the pillows. Also wondered why would you need two lounges.
