Electronic Battery Charger

This Electronic Battery Charger Unit is fitted in our Chausson Flash 08 alongside the Electrical trips/fuses. It has a push switch shown in the bottom right and I am not sure if it should be pressed so that it is in, or left in the out position. If it is pressed so the button is in, a red light comes on and at the moment this seems to result in the main trip going off. Don't know if I have an electrical problem that causes this to happen but it would be a good start to know if this charger should be in the in or the out position. Can anyone help ...... please

That is the power button
It will only operate if connected to EHU
Pressed in is ON

If its tripping the MAIN breaker when pressed in it has an electrical fault......possibly an earth fault if the main switch is an RCD.
Have an electrician check it out

So it should be in the ON position and if it causes the main trip to 'trip' can I assume that there is a problem that I need to resolve?
