Does any one no if you can purchase new plastic gears mine have lost some teeth
or is it a new gear box its a Thurle

try motorhome breakers etc for an idea if they are available or if you have the tech 3D print some new ones

There are gear rebuild kit available for some models on ebay, I stripped mine down a while back and found it was actually the gearbox spindle was starting to seize rather than the gears and managed to rebuild it no problem

I mistakenly stepped on our Thule step when it was half out and stripped the plastic gears.
Thule do not sell replacement plastic gears, only for the aluminium version, so had to buy a complete new motor/gearbox unit.
Don't pay the exorbitant prices for a Thule that they charge as the motor/gearbox they use is the same as a Bosch headlight adjuster.

Here's the unit that I bought to replace my step motor.

In fact, I also found that the motor and gearbox assembly that thule charge £££'s is actually a wiper motor and gearbox that's available for £30 odd pounds
