Out of interest, what's the weight limit of a standard Fiamma 2 position bike rack?

Ours says 60kg.

I've done the maths on this for ours, because of the leverage of the bike load on the back our back axle would be overloaded or all our payload would be gone.

It's the overhang that's the killer.

Chrisboyo's PVC is LWB with little overhang, he could do so much more than us.

Thanks Hilld'
Mmmm. Thought it would be something around that figure. Couldn't look myself, the van's not local to me.

My MH has got a large overhang, so something heavy on the back would lift the front wheels!!

I was interested in the thread because of being 'marooned' on site with no means (apart from public transport) to get around. Saw one of those Hondas and was quite impressed.

Guess it would have to be one of those motorcycle trailer jobbies? Expensive option eh?

I like the fuel cell idea.. It looks like the japs are going to leapfrog us in producing technological things like this.. Can't wait to see the future "gadgets".

That,s what you may think, but the bike rack still tried to rip itself off the door with just 2 bikes on it
I have fitted a tow bar mounted jobby now
