I have a Chausson Suite Maxi 2011. The drop down bed is only coming down on one side, there doesn't seem to be anything snagging it i.e the spiral elect cable. The bed is now parked with a 30 degree angle on it and when operating the the buttons it all seems to be out of sync. when pushing the "up" button it comes down and vice versa and the only way to stop it going either way is the roof (up) and the seat base down or turning the power off. Can anyone advise please.?

I'm not sure of your model or your control panel but there is a hiden switch on mine between the up and down button... not marked but can be felt if you run your finger over it...I believe it can be used to enter a programme mode...
I'll see if I can get some details if you still have problems....
It sounds more like a belt problem to me as I think they only use one motor to drive the belt set up...
If you strip off the mattress and slats you would see if the belt routing has gone astray...

And I've just remembered you press the up button and the hiden button simultaneously for a few seconds to enter the programme mode...

when pushing the "up" button it comes down and vice versa

I have no idea how these work but I can picture a wire wrapped around a drum, now if the drum turned too far it would wind out then wind back in and to you pushing the buttons it would appear they had reversed.

Getting better
My different model Chausson has a "reset" little hole on the up/down panel. I use a pencil point to push it in if required, which usually helps..

Looks like the bed has been lowered down down to far and the belts have started to wind on the wrong way, as its on a tilt make sure non of the guide runner screws have come out and causing it to catch first, then lower it down on some cushions using the up button and keep it pressed until it goes up.

Just in case it helps here's a page on programming but as has been said I believe there are different controls and mine is a 2016.

So if your panel is similar to this it might work if that's your issue.

thank you to everyone that has replied with suggestions to fix the problem. I didnt have much hair before this debacle but I have even less now. the van is now with Calder Valley Motorhomes for a bit of therapy and TLC. The bank balance might suffer though.

I do hope you get it all sorted quickly and painlessly...

I am so very, very, very, glad I do not need electricity and all that it entails to raise and lower my drop down bed...
