Any fellow Edinburgers on here know any hidden wee gems of places to park up and admire the 3 bridges? I've got a hot date with a Polish lass and she says she would like to go and see them. I know it's nice down at the aquarium but a bit tight for the motorhome, could always take the little fiesta van instead.

Any ideas?

Hot date????? :inlove:

Can't help you with the sites, but if you want to get in her good books, tell her (i'll try and spell it phonetically in English rather than just type in the Polish!!) "Pienkna Veeglondash" - means "you look beautiful" in Polish.

Does it definitely mean that? If so just type the Polish and I'll whatsapp her ;)

Lol..
I'm not from Edinburgh but I've spent a few very pleasant nights parked up down at south Queen's ferry at the marina just under the forth road bridge?
The new bridge was under construction at the time ..
Not sure if you can do it now but worth a look..

The Polish is - pięknie wyglądasz

Feel free to check on google translate if you wish, but I promise I'm not messing you around!!

Not stayed, but walked this road for photos of the Forth Bridges. Saw a couple of laybys could be one night stopovers.
The cafe along the road is a nice spot for a cuppa with a view.

Cheers Dazzlin I never thought of looking on p4n.

This one actually looks good, reviews say good views of the 3 bridges.
