Hopefully I’m worrying about nothing?? We bought our motorhome (Le Voyageur 7.5m) in France new in June 2021with E&P levelling system installed. I am concerned that rear levellers seem very low when fully retracted (can’t see how they can be mounted any higher on Fiat frame?). Also noticed this morning have parked up in Croatia that the left passenger side leg appears slightly crooked. Have attached photos. Any thoughts greatly received.

Loooks ok to me. But I don’t have it so can’t compare. What is the physical distance from pad to ground when in its parked position?

The higher they mount them, the less they can level you. They are only X long.

My rears look like that , I haven't caught them on anything on my travels yet.
Its probably not crooked , more likely the ground surface has made them flex , check when there are 10mm off the floor and it will probably be straight

My fronts look like that when fully extended so I guess that is the norm.

I also have E&P levellers fitted to a Fiat based motorhome and I also had the same problem on the front legs. I complained to the installers and they fitted a bracing arm between the front two legs. This at no extra cost to me. No explanation was given to me by the original installers, Solar Solutions based near Bournemouth.
Subsequently I had the complete system inspected by another, very well respected (SAP in Doncaster) E&P installer and it turns out that there is an issued with the Fiat chassis not being strong enough to take the loading from the levellers without addition support. This reinforcing brace, I believe, is now a standard part for this type of installation.
The complete inspection by SAP also revealed that ALL the hydraulic hose crimps done by Solar Solution were faulty. A company best avoided.

When we had our E&P levelling system fitted by SAP [2017]they said nothing is lower than the back axel ,and looking at it this morning it has additional support brackets fitted, this is on a ih PVC

I understand that Mick, at SAP, identified this problem a number of years ago and has been fitting this reinforcing brace as standard. He did inform E&P about the problem but it took them a long time to accept it and included the brace as standard.

I noticed the same on a previous MH i was going to buy, seem very low at the rear. In one of them was bent, presumably caught something at some point. The van i bought it similarly low clearance on the rear. i just keep it in mind when tackling silly high speed bumps, especially those ones for emergency vehicles where the tyres can straddle the hump and wont be lifting the van for additional clearance! (the inset jacks must be extremely close in these situations).

I am having this brace fitted to my van (Peugeot Cab) by Rosmia who have it on order from E&P.
Does anyone have a picture of this fitted they could post? I am trying to work out how it can help.
