Dyson hand held extend battery life (1 Viewer)

For the motorhome Dyson handheld.

.. brilliant with all the different bits/ accessories, but attrocious battery life, blinking crap about 12mins.

So I got a second battery, refurbed I think, and work with two batteries, spare always fully charged.

For quick change: remove and do away with the screw in the rear of the handle (position shown by the yellow marker pencil) see photo.

Loop a cable tie around the battery to hold into position tight enough to allow it to slide along for a quick change but able to hold the battery in position.

For comfort put the cable tie fastener on the opposite side from your trigger finger.

The batteries can be charged by pushing the charger connector straight into the end of the battery, I think they fully charge in 1hr.

I just had to buy a new battery for my V8 Fluffy, around 15 years old.
New battery from Dyson was £65 and it lost a lot longer now than it did when the original battery was new.
£65, and i nearly checked the machine away thinking it was broke!

You are running your Dyson at Max power. They only last a short while on that. I use mine on normal setting and it lasts about 40mins.

Fitted one of these and works brilliantly all my battery power tools are Makita.
I fitted 2 replacement Dyson batteries and they both died just after the warranty ran out.

A week in my house with no Dyson you wouldn't be able to find me, I would be buried under a mountain of dust and dog hairs
