Hi , anyone got an email address of any manager at DVLA ,my son has just been offered 4 jobs (hgv class 1 ) but needs his CPC card for them to accept him , his training centre sent the application off 3 weeks ago but he has not heard anything since, I know things are slow at dvla but I think they need a kick up the ar**se, so if you can help he would be grateful.

You can check your CPC record online, this will at least tell you if anything has been registered yet. DVSA also have a dedicated CPC contact number.

hi Nigel, do you know where I can get the contact number from then I can pass it on to my son. Thanks

Good luck with DVLA, very difficult to get them to do anything.

Apologies, it was late and I was being a bit lazy, I should have posted the details first time!

Assuming the training centre are not having problems the data is uploaded at the end of each training session and should show up on the DVSA site the same day. I completed my last two sessions of CPC online last summer in the middle of the Covid shut down but still received my updated card within the next couple of weeks. Similarly my online tacho card renewal this year was done in two days. It seems DVLA online systems seem quite efficient but anything that involves handling forms is less so.

As a rough guide I applied to renew my class 1 in August. I've rung them and sent emails but no answers. They have over a million in the pipeline and couldn't tell me if they've even received my application. A local haulage company has 14 drivers waiting to start but are being held up by DVLA.
It's about time the government stepped in to give this lot a kick.

Mine due in new year so hoping something starts to move soon.

I had to get MP involved… funnily enough was resolved in 48 hours and letter from CEO dvla!!
