A dust / sand cloud must have come over here in the night. The motorhome is covered in a fine layer of orange, looking up at the skylight it's all grubby, and with the rain now is making it look a right mess. It was looking so nice a couple of days ago after I washed it. Ah well, will have to wash it again later or tomorrow. (y)

there was a bad one way back in the 70ts you might remember it covered a lot of the Country, odd though with this N.E wind should have been desert area with dust storms rising far up into the atmosphere, unless you are the target of a UFO,

I've seen that happen in the drier summer months, but certainly in the NE over the past couple of days, the weather has been far too wet for airborne dust.... Or are you in warmer climes :sun::gum:

Very common when the wind blows over from Africa.
Used to happen in Cyprus and could guarantee I'd have just cleaned the pool when it'd have a film of red sand dumped on it. It feels quite eery when the sand stays in the air, to the extent of hazing the sun.

Hi Gus.
We are in Cartagena at a site for €10/ night. We came in (instead of our normal wild camping) due to the inclement weather and only having 100watt up top.
We are all covered in the sand here as well and some are wiping it off their vans with cloths ! !
A good way to remove the vans gel coat I reckon. So we will wait till we can get to a hose pipe and then clean it..
I see you are in Lorca.. Does that have a GPL refill garage ? ? We could do with a top up sometime..
We're off to La Azohia tomorrow, to sit on the beach for a day or so.
All the best mate.
Mitch and Jenny.

Caravanaslorca has a lpg tank but didn't have any last time I was over there.
http://www.caravanaslorca.es/autogas-glp/
There is an Opel garage in Totana on the road towards Lorca , the N340a. ToAuto is the name.
8-2pm then 4-7,30pm You go down side of garage & tank , along with workshop etc; is around the back. Always gas there.

Also If going to Águilas, although busy now as carnival is starting, then at the western end past the Bellavista campsite there is a garage "Anibal" that now has lpg along with a camperstop , fill & empty .
