80 miles south on the Rhine, Andernach is a nice town, big Stellaplatz by the river. Only a few minutes walk to town centre. Restaurants cheaper than on the Mosel & food better. Largest cold water Gyser in the world.Leaving tomorrow and looking for a site, we want easy access to a town centre, can be aire or site, Germany or closer to UK can't be in environmental zone we only have yellow sticker.
Any thoughts chaps.
Have a look at this thread.Would be very interested in members advice as thinking of going there next year

HiGermany had red, yellow and green, most cities in the envio scheme now only accept green so we can't go in many of the towns and cities.

You don't have to like Christmas to enjoy the markets - wives generally love a market!Been trying to get the wife interested in Xmas markets but she hates Xmas.
Ate there last Monday. One of our favourite restaurants in Dusseldorf in The Old Town is The Fischhaus - we will be there to eat and enjoy the Christmas market late November ?
