I need to remove the drivers door panel to investigate my non functioning electric window.
Any tips or advice on removing this before I go breaking clips etc?
Thanks in advance.

I've not looked at the X250 but I'll have a look at the 290 and see where the retaining points are located.

While it is intended to show how to fit the proplate door lock protectors you have to take the door panel off to do this so it's all at the start - I know it says citroen but it was the same for my fiat

Thanks for the replies.
The YouTube video seems to show the detail I need.
I'll give that a go, with a little more care though.

Cheers.

Be careful at the start when you remove the corner finisher on the armrest.
It's not the end of the world but it's easy to prise it up the wrong way and maybe break a tab off.
Check out the video above and you will see how it's done , hopefully.

You might find the motor and gearing a bit of a pain to access.

Here's a photo of when I was insulating the door skins that shows the motor.
