Don`t usually drain down,,, always kept a small electric heater on low and used the van through the winter...

But now doubt we will get away till next year... so...

Draining the water system from the outside !!! Will that automatically drain the hot tank..???

Cos I don`t know where and if it has an auto frost drain on the boiler...

Not sure even what boiler I have......... It`s under a bench seat...

The van is a Vantage "NEO"... 2017 reg..

Thanks for any help. (y)

You’ll need to investigate your under seat water heater.
There’s bound to be a drain point.
Maybe someone familiar with your motorhome model will know specifics 🤞

In my Vantage Sol, the boiler drain tap is the manual type with the yellow lever, and it’s between the pump and the boiler. Just flip the lever to vertical and boiler should drain. To clear the system fully I blow through the shower hose with taps in both hot and cold positions. Use taps outside to drain fresh and grey water, no this doesn’t drain the boiler. Leave all taps open and with mixers in middle position in case of freezing.
