Saturday 26th July is Dover Regatta and Marine Parade/Waterloo Crescent is usually closed for the day. The regatta is on from 10am to 6pm but the road may be closed from Friday afternoon/evening.

Thanks scousebird, I will make sure I drop my son and his two mates very early for the ferry, they are off interailing. I am driving up from Dorset so that would be best anyway because of the M25. Think I will take the scenic route home! For an extra £30 each they could have caught the speedy Eurostar but what do I know? I suppose it is a few beers....
