Have just started using my double skillet and very pleased with it.Just wondering if there is a cookbook for it ,?

Don’t think so nowadays....

Some ideas on this video...

If you find one.please let me know..thanks

This old thread seems to indicate that there wasn’t a great deal of recipes - other than using as a fry pan with lid...

However, this link was quoted in the tread - and although I haven’t read it - the pics look like there might be some ideas on using a DS

?

Yes there is as I have one,
But you can cook anything in them I would recommend a defuser for things like heating pies etc.
You can cook a joint of meat easily just brown it all over put veg around it and as normal once the pans are up to heat turn it to a very low setting check occasionally by touching the top and in a couple of hours with very little gas you will have a nice roast dinner.
Jacket potatos get even size ones not overly big and once again when the heat is right turn gas down turn the pans over every 15 minutes or so you will tell by the sound they make when they are ready.
Cheese toasties are really easy to do.
They are a great bit of kit once you get the hang of it.

Carol,
Just googled diffuser...does it sit on the gas hob under the skillet ?

I think that using a double skillet is very inconvenient

I think that using a double skillet is very inconvenient

That all depends on what cooking facilities one has... A full oven and three rings... Or only a single gas ring ?
