I don't know why this happens to me ?? I haven't got DT's...
Also, when I post a new thread, I don't seem to be able to view it for a while ??
Is this normal ?? Mitch..

J & M, I've noticed that the system hangs every now and again when posting..............it seems to be when a lot of stuff is going on at the same time, like media being uploaded and so on. I now wait whilst the little black lines in the top right hand corner of the page stop moving and then I move on rather than double tapping the Post Reply button again as I used to do. You will already have worked out that in IT terms I am a numbnut but it seems to work for me! (y)

Thanks Brian and BB. No I hadn't worked that out Bertie. I too am a fairly numb nut in matters IT. But ta.

What are using to connect to the internet?

Sometimes a 'flakey' connection over a dongle with 3G can cause this. You think it hasn't posted so you click 'post' again and lo and behold you get two posts.

Hi Martin. Our whole internet connection is "flakey". Our phone wires are about 50 years old and made of Aluminium. Bloody useless.. I'm on an Apple MacBookPro retina via TalkTalk.. But we are up a dead end country lane and a lad down the road has a new Linux, I think he is "hoovering up" most of the speed !! We get 2.5Mbps download on a good day !!
Mitch. :(

I'm with BB, noticed the lines in top right when on slower connection while up at Durness a lot more

Wait till they go then move on

I think Jim is just looking for more posts to stick in his stats really ;)

we don't care if you double post...as long as you post.
